SENIOR LAB TECHNICIAN

Superior Lubricants Company, Inc. has an immediate opening for Lab Technician.

This individual will be responsible for performing routine laboratory analysis of new and used oil, as well as interpreting results.

The qualified applicant will ensure the quality assurance of all fluids and be responsible for the adherence to all handling procedures and policies associated with product quality .

Bachelor Degree preferred, with 3 years of relevant working experience.  Combination of education and experience maybe considered in lieu of degree.

Duties will include:

• The testing of all new and used samples of product with a 1 business day turnaround.
• Review and oversight of our product quality assurance procedures and compliance.
• Test of samples for oil purification and provide reports on purified samples.
• Research the purchase of additional lab equipment to expand our capabilities.
• Control, maintain and record all retailed samples.
• Understand and assist in running our oil purification/recycling equipment.
• Maintain Oil Trac Trac.net system and answer client questions on oil sampling results.
• Develop and provide Quality Assurance Certificates as needed.
• Work with Business Development on blended product formulation adjustments, and communicate changes in product specifications.
• Other related responsibilities as needed.
