Job Requirements
To qualify, you will need the following:
** On the job related experience with some form of chemistry training
** Experience with new & used oil analysis and lab equipment
** Ability to read and understand Viscometer testing
** The ability to make a sales call if necessary with a sales person
** 1+ year of experience in quality lab or quality engineering manufacturing environment.
** Experience with field service work (on-site oil analysis using hand held or electronic equipment).

** Assist sales staff with oil purification work
**Experience in automotive chemicals and lubricants are preferred and a MUST.
**Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment
**Must be able to make quality decisions based on data review and interact with people at all levels of     the operation and or client base.
**Must be willing to work flexible hours on both days and evenings
**Past related practical experience lab, data analysis, lubricants knowledge will also be considered

Summary Statement

Specialist will Market and Sell Oils, Chemicals, Lubricants and Business Support Services throughout Central New York to target markets of Industrial and Manufacturers as well as Commercial and Heavy Duty Fleets. Candidate will have experience and a proven track record of “program driven” sales success with supply relationships in these business segments

Responsibilities

  • Key Account Identification and Prospecting to secure and personally manage all facets of an individualized Sales Growth and Business Development plan
  • Preparation and management of an Annual Sales Forecast and Business Development Plan
  • Ongoing Account Maintenance and Program Management in support of all client based services.  The sales and relationship expertise to assume “ownership” of Key Account support services and programs
  • Interaction with all Business Units and other Sales Specialists to leverage relationships in support of all related business unit sales objectives

Expected Actions

  • Preparation of an “Opportunity Pipeline” report with adequate prospects to assure the attainment of all Sales Goals and Business Development Objectives
  • Utilization of CRM and Business Reporting Modules to monitor Business Plan Development and manage the Sales Process
  • Coordination of all intra-company support services on behalf of clients, including both regular services and business development initiatives
  • Participation in all Professional Development and Training Initiatives
  • Active support, through scheduled joint calls with other Sales Specialist, of other business unit initiatives with one’s client base

Metrics to be measured by

  • Preparation and Management of Opportunity Pipeline Reporting within agreed upon timelines
  • Timely utilization of CRM in support of Business Development objectives
  • Attainment of pre-determined Sales Goals and Objectives
  • Successful and timely completion of professional training and participation in professional trade associations
  • Timeliness of completing cooperative efforts with other business unit specialists
