Quality Control:
Superior Lubricants was founded on the concept of the bulk distribution
and delivery of motor oils and lubricants to fleet accounts, car
dealerships, auto/truck repair shops, industrial accounts and governmental
entities. Our 26 years of experience make us a leader in this field, and
extensive quality control procedures are part of daily standard operating
procedure which insures the integrity of all product being received and
distributed by Superior Lubricants.
Quality control starts with the proper training of all personnel. All
driver/salesmen, warehouse personnel, and plant maintenance personnel are
thoroughly trained in all aspects of product storage, product handling, and
product transfer. All procedures are documented in employee quality control
manuals, and these procedures are reinforced by daily sampling and testing
of all product being received, as well as all product being delivered.
Daily records of product transfers are maintained and compiled by all driver
salesmen and warehouse personnel, and beginning and ending inventories for
all bulk product must balance each evening on the driver/salesman product
requisition form. Samples are taken on all deliveries by each
driver/salesman, and these samples are logged and retained for nine months
from the date of delivery. All truck-pumping systems are also calibrated on
a regular basis so that all lines and pumps can be properly flushed by our
driver/salesmen when transitioning from one bulk product to another in the
delivery process.
Dedicated storage tanks are used in warehouse operations and on our delivery
trucks, and all tanks are clearly labeled, thus the possibility of error in
product transfer from warehouse to truck, or truck to customer, is virtually
zero. In the event of human error, our daily requisition forms and
sampling/testing procedures stand ready to identify and correct any errors
before they become customer problems. |
